Cycle vs Liquidity — Eight Numbers Corrected
Eight hand-typed claims on the cycle-versus-liquidity page were wrong. They are now derived from the price data itself and tested.

Alpha Factory updates can mention product signals, indicators, or portfolio workflows. They are educational product context, not financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset.
The cycle-versus-liquidity page carried a handful of numbers that were typed in by hand and never checked again. Eight of them were wrong.
What changed:
- The days-from-low counts for the 2017, 2021 and 2025 tops are now measured off the committed daily closing prices instead of being asserted. Two of the three old numbers matched no low-to-top pair that ever happened.
- The 2014 story said the pulse "climbed through the year". It peaked in July and gave the gain back by December. The copy now reads the actual series.
- "The pulse back in its top decile" is now checked against the live reading rather than assumed, so it says what is true today.
- The 2027 scenario now states its own odds: since 2004 the pulse tops a median of nine months after crossing above 50, which makes that path the long end of the record, not the base case.
The argument on the page has not changed. The numbers behind it are now derived and covered by tests, so they cannot drift again. Read it at thealphafactory.io/bitcoin-cycle-vs-liquidity.
