The ready-made DCA scenarios — things like $100 a week into Bitcoin since 2022 — used to show rough placeholder numbers. Every one of them now runs an actual backtest against real historical prices.
- Total invested, current value, gain and ROI are computed, not estimated
- If the price data cannot be fetched, the numbers are left out entirely rather than showing something invented
- From there you can open the full simulator and change the amount, the coin and the dates
