"Should I use log or linear scale?" is one of the most-asked chart questions, and the usual answer is a shrug about personal preference. It is not preference. On a multi-year chart one of them is simply wrong.
The page takes the same two anchor points on Bitcoin's full history, two cycle bottoms, draws the trend line on both scales, and shows where each ruler said Bitcoin should be trading today against where it actually trades. One of them misses by a mile.
- Toggle log and linear on the same chart and watch the line move
- Why a straight line on log means a constant percentage per period, while on linear it quietly assumes growth keeps slowing down
- Every past rally measured, biggest to smallest, so you can see compounding in the actual numbers
- Reads properly on your phone, not just on desktop
