Trading Lab — Stricter Setups Before They Reach You
Setups that cost too much to trade, cannot be filled at size, or cannot be graded on clean data are now rejected before they ever appear.

Alpha Factory updates can mention product signals, indicators, or portfolio workflows. They are educational product context, not financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset.
Same audit, other end of the pipeline. A chunk of the Lab's worst results were not bad luck — they were setups that should never have been published in the first place.
What changed:
- Cost floor: if fees and slippage would eat an unreasonable share of the trade's risk, the setup is rejected
- Wider stops: the stop now sits a full ATR away instead of half, so normal noise does not take you out
- $1,000 executability check: a setup only shows up if a $1,000 position could realistically be filled — thin volume or a wide spread now disqualifies it
- Short setups carry a "Needs margin/perps" label, because you cannot take those on spot
- If the price data has a gap during a call's grading window, it is marked "Void — data gap" instead of being scored against incomplete data
Fewer setups, better ones. Head to Trading Lab, under Tools in the sidebar, to see the current scan.
