  • Liquidity: Some assets are thinly traded and may be difficult or impossible to sell at a fair price, or at all.
  • Technology & counterparty: Smart-contract bugs, hacks, lost keys, and exchange or counterparty failure can cause permanent loss.
  • Regulatory & tax: Rules differ by country and change over time. You are responsible for your own tax and legal compliance.
  • Leverage: Borrowing or trading on margin dramatically increases risk and can lead to losses greater than your deposit.

5. Conflicts of interest

The founder and team may personally hold, buy, or sell crypto-assets that are mentioned or analysed on the platform, and may do so at any time. Content should be read with that in mind. Where a specific asset is discussed, this potential interest exists regardless of whether it is restated each time.
